SHARE CULTURE, CREATE STORIES
Spring Summer 2016
Our spring/Summer 2016 Fashion collection celebrates silk and Supreme Women everywhere. The fabrics are hues from Africa and embody an art print and story about Supreme Women from the Ndebele tribe in South Africa.
Autumn Winter 2016
Our Autumn/Winter 2016 fashion collection celebrates silk, Mohair and Alpaca wool. We love natural fibre and sustainable fashion, so ensure every garment is produced with the utmost care and the best quality fabrics available. The story here embodies Nobility and strength. We can’t wait to share this expression from Africa with you.
Fabrics that are inspired by the Earth and nature breath of life and longevity. We select only the finest natural fabrics that sit well, feel great and sit beautifully on your skin. We nurture our processes from farm to fashion, developing a range of natural clothing for women and men with natural fibres.
We source art from African artists with incredible stories and translate them into desirable yet practical garments. African fashion has gained popularity over the years with its vibrancy, its cultural roots and earthy qualities. Our South African fashion designers are passionate about injecting authenticity into their designs to bring every garment to life in order to translate the art from our artists and the art of design.
African boutique clothing is not what you might expect. We treat every design with local flavour and international flair to bring the best that Africa has to offer. You will be surprised at the beauty and diversity of South Africa in every piece.

We work with talented up & coming artists from developing countries such as South Africa and share their art & stories through fashion. Our African fashion designers have their unique take on design, fabrics, colours and how to bring our artists art and story to life in every garment to enable our ethnic fashion.
Rhumaa aims to produce fashion that means something. So every time a purchase is made, a little is given back to a South African in need. Our soon to be Rhumaa Foundation helps to grow young entrepreneurs who need a financial hand up to develop a business idea or a talent. It’s our way of making sure that sustainable fashions are the future.
